Mother's Park

Mother's Park is located in the Central Carmel with a promenade, green' grassy areas, children's play areas and coffee shops. In the middle of the park is a natural theater stage, whose center is an acoustic shell surrounding it. During the summer months Mother's Park is used as a venue for open-air performances. Within the Park, one will find the Zoological Institute and the Prehistoric Museum, named after Miriam Shteklis. the name of the Park is the expression and honor to all the mothers. The establishment of the Park was part of a world concept of the former Mayor of Haifa, Aba Hushi that asked to encourage values of solidarity and society.
